| Corporations, LLCs, and registered Limited Partnerships doing business in New York must continuously maintain a Registered Agent with a physical New York street address (a PO Box alone does not qualify). The agent may be an individual resident of New York or an entity authorized to do business in New York, must be available at that address during normal business hours to accept service of process, and receives official state notices on the entity's behalf.
